Empire Securities Group is a boutique stockbroking and funds management firm based in Sydney, Australia. We specialise in working with companies in the resources sector in Australia and around the world, principally in Africa and Asia.

The company was founded by Gerard and Gavan Farley. Gerard  has had over 25 years in the Financial services industry, much of that specialising in the resources sector, he has worked in New York, London, Melbourne and Sydney. Gavan has had over 30 years in international business mostly in the UK and USA.

Three Main Divisions

Empire Securities Group has three main activities

Brokerage. 

Buying and selling shares on  the Australian and selected international exchanges.

Corporate advice and Capital Raising

Raising capital  for  mining exploration  for both listed and unlisted companies is our specialty. In the last  five years we have  played  a leading role in raising over $150 million dollars  for listed and unlisted companies. The assets of these companies  are in a wide range of  locations from Africa, South East Asia, Australia Canada and the USA

Funds Management

Empire Securities Group are in the process of setting up a funds management arm, that will specialise in  supporting small companies  balanced by skilful trading in mid and large cap resource stocks. At this stage the  Fund is only open to wholesale investors  with a minimum investment of $500,000. More details can be found under the funds management section of this site
